Time Keeper

Trapped between two worlds she wanders, 

She is a ghost of the past 

From a dark time long ago. 

She is never to rest, 

To feel deaths cool embrace 

As it leads her into the netherworld... 

And so she wanders keeping time, 

Guarding and guiding the living. 

This is her duty, 

Her eternal penance. 

My beautiful mum wrote that poem for me, I love it so much! It fits perfectly with my outfit this week!

This is my halloween outfit for this week, although I don't look particularly freaky, I absolutely love wearing it, because I feel like I just walked out of old Victorian times. Not to mention it is super comfortable and warm, the material of the skirt is really thick!

These photos were taken by my gorgeous friend Tanaya, we had such a fun time too!

The skirt, denim vest, and belt were all thrifted! I remember finding these in the Salvo's store about three years ago, and I just recently dug them out from the depths of the shed the other day!

My shirt is a simple 'flumpy' shirt (hoorah for made up words!) and I love the way it hangs and drapes perfectly on me. Probably because its a bit to big for me...but still ;)

I bought this 'antique pocket watch' from ebay! You can get them really cheap, and they look great!

I hope you like my Steampunk look today, I certainly enjoyed pretending to be a 'ghost from the past' as I walked around the neighbourhood!
